Nightbreeze
PERSONALITY Abilities: Earth/Rock wall Level 1 *Sensing* Level 3 If someone were to describe Nightbreeze using a couple of words, they would most likely say the words mysterious and quiet. She barely ever is seen approaching another cat just to socialize. She usually only speaks if the chat is one of importance, or if another cat dared to approach her for talking. She is one to be seen watching and observing whilst she is in the camp. When she is hunting, she always goes alone (unless ordered to do a patrol) and practices her bending on her own. Because she is always watching and observing others, she is deemed untrustworthy, though that may not be the case. Being a tall and quiet molly that she is, she built the reputation of being intimidating and a bit frightening to younger cats. Every cat that does not know Nightbreeze personally may not ever know what her true intentions are. Though as intimidating and strict as Nightbreeze is, she is very intelligent. She thinks through different situations with concentration and understanding. She is one that puts together good strategies for battles, if there were to be one. And with practicing her second earthbending ability, sensing, she is a rather good hunter, and a good patrol leader. Nightbreeze is also labeled as emotionless. She always wears a blank face and talking with a dark tone. Very few cats would earn her personal affection, and it is very hard to gain her trust, and extremely hard to gain her love. HISTORY Nightbreeze was the daughter of a rogue and a clan cat, being the only kit that they had. Since her mother, a clan cat, had no choice but to leave Nightbreeze, she was raised by her father, a rogue. Her old name, before being accepted into the clan, was Rima. As a kit, her father taught her that emotions were meaningless, and that love was no use. Her father had gathered these feelings because her mother had left suddenly. Little did he know that those lessons would impact her life. She had never known what the concept of 'bending' was, her father refused to speak anything about the clans and about her mother, this only made her curious. As a kit, her father never truly cared for her, he barely ever fed her and only wallowed in his own self-pity. This caused his kit to never love him like a kit should love their father. So, Nightbreeze had left during the night, mainly because of her curiosity and her lack of interest in her common life. But she had left at the worst time. The seasons were stretching into Leaf-Bare, the harshest of the seasons. And as snow began to fall into the forest, Nightbreeze grew more weaker. Because she was only as old as a young apprentice at this time, she did not know how to survive this season. She had soon collapsed in EarthClan territory, thinking that she would soon die. But from there, EarthClanners found her there and took care of her until she was eight moons, but they soon learned that she was an earthbender like them, and that lead the clan to soon take her in as their clan mate altogether, renaming her (as an apprentice) Nightpaw, and soon becoming Nightbreeze. It took a while until Nightpaw had grown accustom to the clan's ways, and she had become angry that her father had never mentioned that her mother held the power of using nature to her will. And sometimes, she still thinks about why her father was so secretive of it. But it made her more curious of this new power of hers. When she was an apprentice, she had soon learned that her mother had died from being attacked by a badger, and she was too weak to defeat it. Though she was very sad, because she would never meet her mother, she never felt grief, because she never knew her, and she never knew how she was like. When growing older as an apprentice, Nightpaw never bothered with speaking and befriending others, she always thought it as a waste of time. Because she never truly made friends on her own, she was always seen watching the other clan cats, or working on her duties. The other apprentices always thought of her as strange, with her turning away any offers of friendship or play, she'd always would rather practice her hunting and/or bending, or be working on her other chores. And of course, her mentor always wanted perfection from her, and she did her hardest to make herself as much, or even more, talented than any average clan cat. But she was never perfect, and she never will be. She still works her flank off even as a warrior, making herself train and hunt more. And ever since she was named an apprentice, Nightbreeze still holds herself as a proud EarthClanner. |
