The Clans FireClan Previously ThunderClan in the ancient times, StarClan blessed the Clan with the ability to produce fire from their bodies. The cats of this Clan are proud and always stand tall. Honor is highly valued among FireClan as well as being respectful to cats with a higher standing. Though the element of fire is difficult to control and self control is extremely important in mastering their abilities. Discipline is taught from a young kit to even the most senior warrior. Emotions of anger and passion run strong in the younger cats until they gain understanding and wisdom. Some never learn the self control it takes and go mad from the destruction they can cause. WaterClan The ancient RiverClan cats have always been born to love the water; StarClan only enhanced the qualities by making WaterClan. The WaterClan cats are known to be one of the most well off Clans. Prey comes easily to those who can bend water and ice. Because there is rarely a lack of food, WaterClan has branched out into learning more complex bending. For this reason, WaterClan has many more Medicine Cats and apprentices than other Clans. They pride themselves on being brave while maintaining compassion. WaterClan cats are also known to be very vain, thinking themselves to be the most beautiful cats in all four Clans. EarthClan The cats of EarthClan were originally ShadowClan. StarClan granted them the ability to be the closest with nature. These cats are known for their independence and being one of the largest Clans. These cats also have some of the strongest cats in the Clans. Their abilities to understand their surroundings makes prey easier to catch. They are also known to have the most equal blend of benders and nonbenders than any of the other Clans. Though outsiders are usually not welcomed easily in EarthClan, cats with physical disabilities are held with greater respect. It is believed that these special cats have an even deeper understanding of nature because of what they lack. AirClan In ancient times, AirClan was known as WindClan. The ability to bend the air around themselves was given by StarClan. As the generations have passed, the cats of AirClan realized that their most powerful teachers were actually the elders of the Clan. This Clan has always had a deeper connection with StarClan than the other Clans. With the power of air, the warriors of AirClan specialize in defensive moves which has caused them to work together more often in battle. This has caused a shift from one leader to multiple as the Clan saw each other more as equals. Everyone has a voice and it is heard. They pride themselves as being a compassionate and peaceful Clan. Outsiders are almost always welcome in AirClan.
