Emberwind
PERSONALITY Fire Claws - L2 Smoke Cloud - L2 Quick trait reference: Fierce-tempered, energetic/fast-paced, helpful, emotionally immature, moralistic, secretive, cold, trouble-making, adventurous, socially awkward, clingy, playfully flirtatious, hopeless romantic, lacks self-esteem, ambitious Emberwind is high-maintenance, but anyone willing to deal with her fierce temper and her energetic, fast-paced way of life will have a friend who will eagerly help them whenever they ask. This she-cat may lack emotional maturity, but she has a strong sense of morality, and while she's far from always being right, she will defend what she believes in regardless of what others think. Her sense of justice conflicts greatly when she is told a secret--she promises close friends that she will take their secrets to the grave, but if she catches wind of information that shakes her moral compass, she pretends the problem doesn't exist. She has a tendency to be cold towards others when her morals are struck, perhaps even going so far as to avoid the cat who spilled their secret. Still an apprentice at heart, Emberwind has a bit of a trouble-making streak and a lust for adventure. She loves action and she has dreams of being the hero that saves the day. It nearly goes without saying that Emberwind has a tendency to be impulsive, staunchly following a "Act first, think later" motto. A very ambitious young cat, she wants to go far in life and make the most out of it. Unfortunately on the socially awkward side, Emberwind has a hard time making friends because she talks so much and so fast that others have a hard time keeping up (not to mention that she gets derailed from the conversation far too often). Once she makes a friend, however, she gets clingy and excited to share memories and experiences with the cat in question. As many young felines do, Emberwind sees romance in her future. She is prone to playfully flirting with the toms in FireClan, but she never puts much meaning behind it. Deep down, she wants a serious relationship, but she doesn't think it'll happen. Emberwind has various self-esteem issues that hold her back in the social areas of her life. HISTORY Emberwind was born to a pair of young warriors in FireClan alongside her sister Duskfire. Their parents were ecstatic to have two healthy daughters, and they spoiled them. Their father spent all of his free time with his family, teaching them various techniques, whereas their mother encouraged them to speak up for themselves and to do great things with their lives. The sisters grew close, though their personalities differed quite a bit: Duskfire was much quieter and more shy than Emberwind, though almost ironically Duskfire had a much better way with words than her chattier sister. The two share their interest in Clan politics and strong morals. Emberwind didn't present her firebending abilities until she was about a moon into her apprenticeship. That day, her training partner, an arrogant tom, antagonized her for the last time: she bowled him over and unsheathed her claws. They heated up quickly, but she didn't notice--the young tom screeched, kicking at Emberwind to get her off, but she ignored his pleas and swiped her paw across his face, leaving light wounds and slight burns. The young apprentice was punished for attacking a Clanmate with her claws unsheathed, sentenced to a moon of chores, and as a result earned her warrior name a moon after her sister. She has been a warrior for two moons now (with no other major incidents leading up to her naming ceremony), and she is trying to find her path as a warrior. |
